SoccerOP started in September 2003 when Scott Wollaston and Chad Heinicke were contracted by the City of Greensboro to run soccer operations at the Greensboro Sportsplex. Their goal was to improve the operations of the existing indoor soccer league and create new soccer opportunities for kids and adults in the local soccer community.
In just 4 years, SoccerOP has grown into one of the premier training programs in the Piedmont Triad offering programs for children 18 months old through adults. And, the program has expanded into High Point and now, Winston-Salem.

MISSION STATEMENT
SoccerOP’s mission is to provide the best supplemental soccer training experience in the Piedmont Triad.
HISTORY OF "OP"
The name SoccerOP was decided upon because Scott and Chad wanted to create new Soccer ‘OP’portunities for the community, as well as serve as directors of Soccer ‘OP’erations for local youth soccer programs (such as the Greensboro Sportsplex).
Later, Scott and Chad decided to form a company shield. In trying to decide on the artwork of the shield, they realized that the “O” in OP represented “Ohio”, Chad’s home state, and the “P” in OP represented “Pennsylvania”, Scott’s home state. So, the icon on the “O” side of the shield is the Ohio Buckeye, and the icon on the “P” side of the shield is the Pennsylvania Keystone.
