ADULT INDOOR TOURNAMENTS

SoccerOP Futbolito Soccer Series

 Futbolito is taking over the Greensboro Sportsplex and Winston Salem Soccerplex during the 08-09 Winter.  These adult tournaments will be fast paced, and exciting!  There will be ten total tournaments (5 in Greensboro and 5 in Winston Salem) culminating in a final "SoccerOP Futbolito Champions Cup" as the 11th Event to which only former champions and finalists will be invited!  The Winning Team of the Champions Cup will receive a $500 gift certificate to a local athletic store to be determined.

Format of Futbolito Tournaments:

*Groups of 4 teams (Up to 8 groups per event) ***32 TEAMS MAX PER EVENT***

*Each team is guaranteed 3 games of 12 minutes each.  Top 2 teams from each group will advance to elimination rounds.

*3 points for win, 1 point for tie, 0 points for a loss

*Tiebreakers:  1) Head to head 2) Goal differential in group play 3) 3 minute sudden death overtime

*Teams will play 4v4 (including goalkeeper) and may have as many as 6 players on the roster

*Cost: $80 per team if paid in full by preregistration date or $100 per team if paid in full after preregistration date

*Winners receive 1) a full refund of entry fee 2) $100 gift certificate to Sponsoring Restaurant 3) Invitation to the "SoccerOP Futbolito Champions Cup"

Greensboro Events: October 24, November 7, December 19, January 16, and January 30

Winston Salem Events: October 31, November 21, December 5, January 9, January 23

 $150 per team

Ø Format is 5v5 (4 plus Goalkeeper)

Ø 25 minute games

Ø Roster size can be 7-10 players

Ø Each team is guaranteed 3 games

Ø We will play festival format with winner based on points

Ø Age groups may be combined to have a competitive tournament
